At Desirepath wenbelieve that spaces have personalities and vibes. We believe in the Japanese philosophy that one builds spaces as extensions of culture and values, rather than as places where culture happens.

Desirepath is a small team of passionate explorers and creatives who just love to design and create beautiful spaces. Be it your home, office or just a little reading nook....nothing is too small or unimportant for us! We'll help you to discover your zen, your happy place and we work very hard to reach that goal!
Our clients are mainly home owners and tenants who like to make temporary changes in their living spaces, small businesses, start ups and such. We are happy to create your space no matter who you are or what your budget is.
Smita John
Founder & key designer
Desire path is the brainchild of Smita John - the founder and key designer. Smita is born and raised in Mumbai - India and lives between Dubai and Mumbai. In 2015 Smita took a leap of faith and moved out of her 9 to 5 job in pursuit of fulfill her designing "itch" as she calls it.

Taking from her skills as an artist and animator and her technical knowledge from her stint in facility management she brings her own unique perspective to designing spaces. Inspired by the works of Victoria Hagan, Jacques Grange, Joanna Gaines and Bobby Berk, she loves to add that bit of fun, flair and edginess to a classic style.
